New Year's resolutions can be exciting at first, but daunting in no time. Whether your goals include eating healthier foods, getting more exercise, or expanding your financial blueprint, just know that you can succeed! All you have to do to create big change is take small steps.
Don't be overwhelmed by how far you have to go, be overjoyed by how far you have already come. Inch by inch, it's a cinch!
Once you have decided on your ultimate goal, break it down to include smaller, daily, weekly and monthly goals. Take "becoming healthier," for example. You can break health down even further to include exercise, sleep, diet, hygiene, lifestyle, stress handling and relationships. Once you understand what your overall goal encompasses, you can start making small changes that will bring you closer to your desires. This can mean sleeping more, exercising daily or flossing your teeth each morning and night.
Strive for progress, not perfection and rejoice each time you take a step in the right direction!
